Researchers in the Faculty of Health are undertaking visionary research of local, national and international significance, ranging from the biomedical to social determinants of health and from neural processes in vision to bullying behaviours in children. Our researchers hold over $8 million annually of externally-funded research grants and the Faculty of Health is home to five Canada Research Chairs and numerous recipients of prestigious research awards. While advancing basic research, and providing new knowledge, theories, and insight into some of the most pressing contemporary health issues, our researchers are also developing innovative applications of their knowledge, working with community and industry partners to foster real-world solutions to real-world challenges.
